The Saturday Carnival is always a huge event at Shambala and the kids love joining in on all the crazy fun! Be sure to bring a fancy dress costume along and check the Shambala website for this years theme. Shambala has one of the most jam-packed kids fields on the festival circuit with activities for all ages including a live performance stage, crafts, circus, theatre and bedtime stories with hot cocoa in the family yurt.
What are the highlights for families and children? There is always a warm welcome, a helping hand or a hug from a kind crew member.Īs well as the family yurt – there is a brilliant kids’ field where all the activities are free, a wandering word poetry tent, a puppetry tent, a theatre, dance workshops, a creche, hot tubs, a permaculture and healing area, fun dressed up people and fantastic music and lots of dancing through the night! The wonderful family yurt located in the family camping area is great as it means the children have somewhere to play without having to go into the festival. They do everything they can to make the festival great for the whole family, whilst maintaining the music, magic and mayhem making it a firm Festival Kidz favourite for adults and kids. Shambala is a very family-friendly festival, with a wild side.
